COM Update - January 2025

As we gear up for a new year, we have a big update from our Communications Department!

See more on the upcoming transition below.

Marisol’s message from the image above:

After 11 years with HFK, I will be stepping down from my role as Communications Director in March 2025. I have loved working behind the scenes of our external communications for all of you, our HFK Family & supporters.

In happy news, I am excited to share that this transition is coming due to recently becoming a licensed therapist and accepting a full time role in community mental health.

I’ll miss connecting with team members and our partners to showcase the amazing work that HFK has been doing across the years. I am hopeful for the future of HFK Communications & am delighted to be a part of training the future candidate for this role.

I am so thankful to HFK for helping me grow! Igniting a fire in my heart for service, strengthening my faith, and reminding me that there is good in the world.

I hope in this time of transition, you’ll continue to support HFK. I look forward to continue serving alongside you all in new ways & can’t thank you all enough for your support as I served in this role.

With love & kindness,
Marisol Valencia
